The Al-Habibiyyah Zakat and Waqf Foundation promotes effective Zakat management and sustainable Waqf development to alleviate poverty, empower communities and create lasting social impact through education, healthcare and economic support.
The Al-Habibiyyah Zakat and Waqf Foundation is an initiative of Al-Habibiyyah Islamic Society established to promote the proper collection, management and distribution of Zakat and the development of sustainable Waqf endowments for the benefit of individuals and communities. The Foundation seeks to use Zakat as a tool for poverty alleviation, social protection, economic empowerment, supporting vulnerable individuals and families while helping eligible beneficiaries move towards self-reliance.
Through Waqf, the Foundation promotes sustainable philanthropy by mobilising endowments that can generate lasting social and economic benefits. Its focus includes education, healthcare, skills development, poverty reduction, humanitarian assistance and other initiatives that contribute to community development. The Foundation is committed to transparency, accountability and effective stewardship of Zakat and Waqf resources, ensuring that charitable contributions are managed responsibly and directed towards meaningful and lasting impact.
