ABRAHAMIC MISSION

The Abrahamic Mission is an interfaith dialogue and peacebuilding initiative committed to promoting religious tolerance, mutual understanding, and peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Christians in Nigeria and beyond. Rooted in shared values of compassion, justice, human dignity, and peaceful coexistence, the Abrahamic Mission provides a platform for meaningful engagement between people of different religious backgrounds. Through dialogue, media outreach, public enlightenment, and peacebuilding activities, it seeks to address religious misconceptions, challenge prejudice, discourage extremism, and strengthen mutual respect among diverse communities. Associated with the Al-Habibiyyah Islamic Society and its interfaith engagement efforts, the Abrahamic Mission encourages religious leaders, scholars, policymakers, and members of the public to embrace dialogue rather than division and understanding rather than suspicion. Through public discussions, media programmes, interfaith gatherings, and peace initiatives, the Abrahamic Mission promotes responsible citizenship, peaceful elections, community harmony, and cooperation in addressing societal challenges. The Abrahamic Mission believes that religious differences should never become a justification for hatred, discrimination, or violence. Rather, religious values should inspire compassion, justice, responsible conduct, and service to humanity. By creating opportunities for constructive conversations and meaningful relationships, the Abrahamic Mission continues to contribute to a society where people of different faiths can live together in peace, dignity, mutual respect, and shared commitment to the common good.
